I haven't printed shirts for a couple of years, so my water based in is old. It's stored in my cool basement, and it hasn't hardened. Does it go bad (like emulsion) or should it be fine? I don't want to use start a new project with bad ink...

Should be fine if it looks and feels fine.

Freezing can ruin it, but being in your basement would have prevented that. I've heard that it can sometimes get moldy, but never seen it happen.
