I was used it for our customer here. The color that we got after calibrate; The color are more clear and bright than before did it. You must try by your self.

The basic software that comes with the eye-one isn't very good. The pro software is VERY expensive.
Beware uv brighteners in fabrics, they screw up calibration.
But generally you get brighter, truer colours if you calibrate than if you use 'out of the box' profiles.

Hi PositiveDave

Regarding QuickP rip on the machine; We did not used Eye-one for making the profile but it will help on linearize,control with the ink Limited and generate look up table. QuickP did not support with ICC profile yet. It will be ASAP.

AT the currently: We generate ICC profile on Photoshop and Illustrator (Designer system). it will help designer a lot that he can see the color before printing on his monitor.
