Hey everyone,

I've done some searching and watched a view videos.
I'm making my own vacuum top for my exposure unit.

I have the blanket, and the frame ready. I ordered the vacuum from harbor freight.

My question is:
How and what is the best way to attach the hose/tubing from the vacuum to the blanket?
Is there a special valve i should buy?
Best hose/tubing for the job?

Thank you. Any help is appreciated.

Easiest is to drill a hole in the side of the frame itself and put a barbed fitting in to secure the hose to the vacuum. Some put a tire valve stem in the blanket itself and remove the valve, but I've had good luck with a hole in the frame. It's less elaborate and if you have to change blankets, it's one less thing to mess with.
