Just wanted to show off what I have been working on today to everyone, my DIY exposure unit. External measurements 32" x 34".

It is loaded with 8 x 2ft unfiltered UV lights, two switches on the front if I want to only do a small screen I can only use four of those bulbs.

It also has a vacuum top currently powered by a good old vacuum cleaner, but will be changing this out soon. Let me know what you think, was thinking of doing a step by step video if anyone is interested let me know here.

Looks good. How much weight do you use for exposing?
Let's see a video! I'm looking into making one also, great job.
I have built a vacuum top so there is no need for weights to stick on top as the vacuum unit ensures great contact between the screen and acetate.

Video will be coming soon guys, sorry its taken so long to reply, been busy designing for the clothing business.
What's the wattage for each bulb? And, about how long does it take you to expose a screen?
Bulbs are rated at 15W each, unfiltered black light, the same used on sun beds and for attracting bugs.

Exposures are obviously dependent on how old your bulbs and diazo are, but on average around 10 minutes. If the bulbs are warm then a little quicker.
Looks great!! A video showing how you put it all together would be awesome. I'm goint to buy the materials to build my own exposure unit. Thanks for the pics.
Can I see pics and any info you can share at this time -- about to draw out my plans and with 2 peop helping me -- make this happen -- scary.
