Hi. I am wondering how you dispose of decorated items on a rejected order. Has customer logo. Thanks.

If it was rejected for something other than quality, keep one as a display and throw the rest away.

If the customer didn't want them, they probably also don't want you distributing them into the public domain.

what splat said, if a customer doesnt want the shirt or fails to pay i keep for examples of my work and if its a multi shirt order i like to save some shirts and use for test fabric if needed

We donate all of our "reject" apparel to a local women's shelter. You usually have to contact them first; don't just ship or deliver to them without prior approval. Be sure to keep track of your expenses for tax deduction at year end.

Yeah, I was thinking hard goods when I said to throw them away. If these are shirts, I would use them as test pellons.

Is there no way to donate them to some place that could use them? And what was reason for the customer rejecting from the OP ?

We use them for test prints and then we cut them with a rotary cutter and use them as rags to clean screens on press (cotton and 50/50).

Hard goods with logo? Keep samples and the rest to the landfill. Or, if you want to accelerate the cost of those hard goods to terminal velocity, resurface and re-purpose.

You can also donate to a church or group that packs Christmas shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child. I put all of my unwanted items in boxes that get shipped around the world to countries who aren't as fortunate as we are here in the states.

All great options. Cut up and use for rags is another option. I cut the backs and any unprinted area out and they can be used to print images for people who make quilts. I do tons of quilt squares. I use sublimation myself but could be done on cotton also with dtg or heat transfer.

We keep one for a sample or a record, then donate balance to retired military hospital. All new good make it like Christmas to them as well as a tax write off.

Hello, we just accumulate them and when we travel outside USA, give them away to people in real need for them. They are very happy to get them, color and/or decoration does not matter to them. They really appreciate it!
