Can they all go down the drain or do they need to be disposed of in a certain way?

hi there, you need to talk to your supplier. It will depend on the solvent you use, how much you use etc.
In genral dont put anything downthe drain, especially solvents. Stencil removers are usually ok as they are washed down with lots of water, if you are worried about the solidsfrom the emulsion a simple gravel trap will filter these out.
All suppliers will have information and advice for you.
You need a sign off from your local water authority, we have a smal filter on ours but then they send you a form to fill in and check what is going down the drain, we screenprint all the usual stuff and it came back from them fine, they just need to know how many gallons and what chemicals etc.
funnily enough one of our gisrls has just finalised ours with United Utilities I think its about £150 per year (cos they say they its extra treatment charge) and you get signed off.
We have to do it each year as we are iso 14001 environmentally registered.
I wouldnt worry about getting it done its not such a big deal.
