Digital printing for burnouts

969 Views 2 Replies 2 Participants Last post by  Wndrboy
I've started a small design company and I am seeking advice on the best printing for burnout t-shirts.

I'm looking for a faded or "vintage" look and feel to match the fabric of my burnout shirts. Will digital do this?

Would it be wise for me to invest in a digital printing machine or should I stick with traditional water based screen printers?

Any feedback on this subject would be deeply appreciated.

Thanks

DTG machines only print on cotton, and since a burn out burns out the cotton in the fabric to create the burnout look, digital printing will not work. You need screen printing.
Thanks so much for the feedback and the knowledge.
