Aloha Everyone,


I am looking to add both Solvent based screen printing (bumper Stickers) and Water- slide decal printing to my current offerings.

My question regards reuse of my Aluminum screens, should I dedicate my screens specifically to each ink discipline? Or can I use the same screens for all of my different needs?

If you clean up and reclaim the screens properly you should be fine using the same ones.
If solvent ink dries in the screen you will have a very hard time cleaning it out, and it could ruin your screen.
I have used vinyl, enamel, plastisol and discharge inks on the same screen with no problems.
Just clean them up good, you should be OK.
