Many people here use heat transfer for their shirts because it is chaep. I would like to know how the difference in quality is between screenprinting and heat transfer. I would say screenprinting is more professional but I might be wrong. What technique do the better t-shirtsstores use?
Thanks

When you're using quality supplies (paper, ink...), heat transfer is almost as good as the quality of screen printing, but only for light-colored shirts. The high-end t-shirt stores almost all use screen printing I'd say, but heat transfer has its advantages too. (Search for old posts on screen printing versus heat transfer for more info.)
