Hello all,
I was looking at xara software on the web and it looked very good and only about $90.00. But I am a real newbie at this and was looking for advice on this software. There are a few videos on u-tube also that I watched. Any help wuold be appreciated.

well corel draw I hear is the best I went with gimp a free based program just because I didn't want to spend 300 bucks on corel draw or whatever you should try some of the free ones before you spend money like gimp and inkscape... another thing is
try before you buy always a rule on software...
If you go to the developers website like corel.com they offer free trials and normally when you download one of those a box might pop up and say 10% off if you order now or whatever so you could also get a discount for trying free trials...

Search google for free vector software, use it for a while get to grips but make your aim Corel in the long run.

Yep Gimp and inkscape work good...

gimps the closest thing to a photoshop you can find for free... other then that you could try ebay or amazon for an older version of corel....
