So we make decals like everyone else in the vinyl business, we picked up a customer that has requested that his decals be made on "crack n peel" vinyl, these will be printed on our Versacamm, laminated, my question is can anyone recommend a printable vinyl with this type of backing? If so have you used it in a Versacamm? any problems?

TIA

K...thanks for the response, forming them out to a 3rd party isn't going to be a option, silting the back seems like a lot of hand work because we're talking about 500-1000 decals per run....any other options?

We run jobs like that by printing 4-5 decals to a sheet in a single row and running them face down through a slitter. If there are going to be a lot of these runs, you should look into one! It doesn't add much time or labor to the process at all.

Looks pricey......thanks for the link, so the consensus in our shop is there is no such thing as "Crack N Peel" vinyl. :D

Probably is a little pricey, but if you're going to have a lot of those runs, it will definitely save you a lot of time and frustration trying to deal with the handheld ones, I've used both and the machine is a lot easier and faster!
