I've tried a little bit of everything: different temperatures, press times, heavy and light pressure, different shirts, transfer tape, silicone paper and I still get the same result with my prints.
Attached is an example of the problem I'm having using Neenah Jet Opaque 2 on a brand new Gildan 200 t-shirt, printed with Epson Durabrite (pigment) inks. Looking straight at it doesn't show as much but it is definitely still obvious, and very noticeable when looking at it at an angle. The print goes more into the fibers after repressing it with silicone paper but the weird inconsistencies that you really see in the blacks don't go away.
Does anyone here have any idea how to fix this problem?
