I have a FP-125 unit and I can't seem to get the color "pop" that I want from the colors I am using. I am laying down a good base of white as far as I can tell, and pretreatment is being done. Any Ideas?
The POP of your colors is going to rely 100% on the brightness of your white layer. If your white layer is gleaming white, your colors are going to shine. Take what you're doing now and increase each step a bit. Use more pretreatment and make sure that you mash down the fibers while you squeegie then up your white ink level. I personally never use the content based setting because I prefer a super white underbase.
