please always remember.... The companies CAN(and some do!) switch out paper and call it the same name!!!!
ALWAYS ASK!!!! "is this "so&so" paper...what is the original name?"

If they do not want to say...... I always go and ask mike! (and I 99.9% of the time shop with him anyway!!) :)

lol....AND....sometimes that "back-mark" is changed while the paper is the same!!!

...this makes it so hard and confusing to really KNOW what one is getting!!!

So far, LOU and Mike will call their paper what it is!!!
...AND if someone does not know and asks them.....they will tell them the truth as to what the paper is!!!
(thanks guys!!!) :)

There is also the Forever Line from International Coatings.

Forever Ink Jet Dark
Forever Subli Dark 201
Forever Laser Dark.

International Coatings

The only one of these i have tried is the forever ink jet dark. i find it has a fairly soft hand and good stretchability.
cool thanks!
"Forever Ink Jet Dark" is the only inkjet opaque on your list above.....what is the imprint on the back?

I really appreciate it!

I will give the forever laser paper a go!!
(do the laser opaques need to be contour cut on a cutter like the inkjet opaques do?)....I will ask you in the other thread as well to make sure you get this question...)

re: Dark OPAQUE Inkjet Heat Transfer Papers Names - and the "other" names they are sold under. (pls help add to this list)

Ok I'm confused. What's new eh?
LOL!!! I am too a lot of the time!!!
:D

Are all the above darks just another name for IronAll Dark?
"all of the above darks" ????...If you are talking about the "Paper for Darks - LIST " in my original post...no , they are not all Ironall for darks...... ....there are 4 papers on the "list"...the LAST one in this list , Paper # 4, is Ironall for darks.

I used one sample of Alpha Gold Dark. Being new and not having tried anything else I thought it was great.?
ALPHA GOLD DARK IS "Neenah's Jet Opaque"(paper #2 on the LIST)
.......UNLESS they have switched papers. You might want to ask them.

I then tried some IronAll Dark that I had bought and found that it was better as it wasn't so heavy.
I'm now looking at Neenah Jet-Opaque II Dark Colors. Is this comparable to IronAll Dark? Has anyone used it and did you like it or not?
Appreciate the help,
Susie
"Neenah Jet-Opaque II Dark Colors" IS plain ole' Neenah Jet Opaque.. paper #2 on the "list"

Did you purchase the "jet-opaque II" from GSSpapers???

Rodney is going to fix this thread for me and make it clear in the "title and opening post" that this thread is for INKJET PRINTERS ONLY.
....so as not to cause any confusion.
:)
Thanks so much Rodney!!! :)

We find the ClearSoft Dark to have a substantially softer feel than The JPSS for darks.
?????
There is not a JPSS for darks.

Neenah only makes JPSS for lights.

And.... THANKS SO MUCH for the SUPER FAST SHIPPING ED!!!!!!!! AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:):):)

I read that four times before and didn't see that you had them segmented out. Thanks for letting me know that the Ironall's are listing in #4.
No, I didn't purchase the Jet-Opaque II at all. I was going to but wanted to ask questions first.
Thanks for helping me out,
Susie
....another source/vendor for ***"Ironall Dark"*** is PROWORLD.... and their name for this paper Clearsoft Dark.
GREAT customer service!
and VERY nice to deal with!
PLUS ....SUPERFAST SHIPPING!!!!

****** from what I am told "IRONALL" is a named coined by New Milford Photo.
I am not sure if this paper even has a "ROOT" name.
Mike from tshirtsupplies might know.

Yes, I've ordered off ProWorld a few times. I got my 15 x 15 Seiki Heat Press there along with a bunch of mouse pads. Super fast shipping and there customer service is great. Thanks for telling me their Clearsoft Dark is Ironall Dark. I'm making a list and will check everyone out. :)
Thanks,
Susie
....just remember... PROWORLD's Clearsoft Dark is not from New Milford..... Proworld gets it from their own distributor.

New Milford gets it from their own too...and coined the name "ironall".

...but , yes, it is the same paper.
and so is "everlast dark" .... from coastal.com and heatpressessentials.com....
( Transfer Paper, Heat Press, Heat Transfer Vinyl, Cutters - Coastal Business Supplies & HEAT PRESS ESSENTIALS,tee Square it, Logo it, teflon sheets, T Shirt Transfer Paper. JPSS. Jet Pro SofStretch )
.....and I am sure more names will "pop-up" lol ..... but everyone will still probably call it Ironall!!! LOL

Just went to Coastal and I don't see the Everlast for Dark. HUM, Maybe I need new glasses.
...looks like they are only selling the Everlast "light" version....(same as ironall for lights)
.....They still have it listed in their "sample pack"......you might have to call and ask when Everlast Dark will be back on their shelves.
