i've been playing around with it tonight, i set the design as dark color but than opened a black production layout. Rip it and compared it to a high res layout it showed it went fron $2.44 to $1.86 and printed faster. Is this a possible way of doing it.

There are a few steps your are missing in between. Currently what is set up in the dark production section is a default profile which will yield acceptable results but not the extraordinary results you are used to with the NeoFlex.

I'm running around these days. but I promise to make time and get the dark production finished this upcoming week.

I want to learn more of the rip so I can creat layouts for some bright colors i print on but afraid to change the wrong setting and mess it up, maybe there's a layout creator for dummies lol

so for navy shirts, why wouldn't the "black shirt production profile" work? you would just select the dark color background so it would print your black ink, right? it sounds like this is what glupo did, and what i would do, but are you saying you have a better profile you're working on? this would give us profiles for "white", "black", "red", and now "navy" shirts.

these profiles are facinating to me since this is what I asked AnaJet to help me with over 3 years ago and never received any help other than the preset "vivid", "graphics", and "photo" modes within Eukon RIP. i know it's a lot of work on your part, but this is such a blessing to have you helping us print better quality shirts. this is largely what sets NeoFlex in a class of it's own.
