What type of cutter is this? I would check the manual and see if there is a way of setting it back to the factory defaults or just resetting the unit.

Cutter Adjustment Problem
I have a friend who hit the cutter adjustment button in the options and now the print head goes to the middle of the printer at startup and it gives me an error code 1003D. Does anyone know how to fix this? It won't let me go into ready mode to change it back! Any help would be appreciated!

It says the cutter/carriage error. Everything is in tact and should be working properly. After my friend hit the cutter adjustment button to adjust the cutter(which he really shouldn't have pushed) it started giving this error message. I've tried everything to pressing the pause button to reset it but wouldn't know where to start about resetting the whole system and don't even know if that would be a good idea considering its been modified quite a bit. Maybe I should post up a video.
Ok, try unpluging it and let it sit without power for a 1/2 hour.
I've let it sit a full day unplugged and then came back and still nothing. This is the 2nd t jet that I've come across that's done this. Super weird
