Hello Everyone,

I hope someone can help me here.

I am looking for a manufacturer in the UK that is able to print fabric ideally 100% cotton and then cut and sew a 4-piece t-shirt together. The t-shirt is printed on the front panel and entire sleeves, as well as this looking for embroidery, labelling, swing tags.

I am looking to use DTG process as I am a luxury t-shirt brand and find that this process allows you to use 100% cotton as a soft and cleaner feel to a t-shirt.

If there is anyone that can help or discuss further with me on this process I would be most appreciative.

Thank you,

Adam

Hi Adam,

good post here, however i think your after 2 totally different businesses, i dont think you would get someone who will cut and sew garments and also do DTG, here in the UK anyway. I wouldve thought you wouuld have to contact someone who creates the actual tshirt and then have them sent onto a DTG printer to do the printing.

You should also look at all over sublimation printing, this is possible nowadays and quite alot of people specialise in it too. this means you can just buy any blank tshirt and have it printed all over the front without paying stupid prices to have your own tshirts manufactured

Regards

Providing it's polyester which from the sound of it the op wants to avoid.

Hello Jinxter and Purevinyl,

Thank you very much for the reply, you are quite right it is very difficult, I have managed to find a place in Europe that does this very process, it is a very difficult one and quite challenging, the results are great however need to be carefully looked over as I am trying to create a luxury t-shirt brand and using sublimation and polyester is simple and of course cost effective, I am trying to attract a different market.

It is quite apparent that sublimation is very popular giving a lot of new people at this game the opportunity to print literally whatever they want, however it is the quality that I am looking for and the use of 100% cotton.

Good look on finding any info that you do though 2inifity, you should defintely put a post up once you have found someone who does what you offer and help let other people in the UK know about it, good luck with your brand!

If I was yourself, search Italy for what you're after, most of the high end luxury brands are all manufactured there. However more often than not, they are all owned by one group so chances are that'll just have a factory for supply purely for their own brands.

However, I have just looked and there must be somewhere in the UK doing this as designer Katie Eary has this process done here.

It'll be well worth the hard work and wait of looking! Best of Luck.

Re: Cut and Sew UK

Hi Everyone,

I recently started a new clothing line and wanted to introduce some more interesting designs. Ideally I was looking for a manufacturer that could cut and sew a less traditional t-shirt for me. i.e T-shirts with zips on the side and possibly print on them also.. Have you got any idea where I can access this kind of manufacturer in the UK..

Thank you
