Hi Everyone,
I have been printing for a few years, but my custom side of screen printing is just starting to get really moving. I have a customer that wants me to print some very politically charged apparel. There was also the request to help create the logo artwork, which will be registered as a Trade / Service / Etc Mark, for what will become the symbol for a non-profit org. I don't disagree with her message, I even support it on a personal level; however, I try and stay away from extremely inflammatory political statements in my business actions and open social media posts. I do not print my label on customers' custom orders but there is the word of mouth, which is a large part of our business. I am concerned about ostracizing my business before it gets the chance to really grow. Flip side, business is business and an order is an order.

Please share your thoughts. I would really appreciate the different points of view on the subject. It will help me make a final decision.

Cheers,
Ryan

As you said an order is an order. Unless you have any personal or morel objection ( which as a business owner it is your prerogative to have) business is business.

Isn't free speech part of your constitution? As long as you don't imply that the political view is part of your 'mission statement' ( horrible jargon) than there should be little come back.
