How are Pro Worlds stock transfers for light fabrics made? The fish ones I ordered have white in them. Can I order them like that? They are still very soft compared to the transfers for darks. They are 4 color process artwork. Thanks.

The reason that the transfers for dark color fabrics feel heavier is because they normally are backed in a layer of white ink. This make them opaque and able to be seen on the darker materials. Any particular design cannot be changed from one process to another without involving large production quantities.

Thanks for the quick response. So your transfer (item #A5856B) is on a white background? How come it can't print on darks?

Not all designs that have a white background are designed for printing on darks. Depends on the design and the manufacture process.
