After owning our Neo for 3 years I had to turn down a customer with a 6X shirt because the image would have been too small ( my opinion).

After he left I realized I probably could have put 2 platens together to do the job. Problem is I have never played with the platen organizer and do not know how to set this up.

I guess I need the Custom layout template guide. I may have had this when we got our Neo but its missing in action now.

Can someone send me this or point me to the info. I would really appreciate the help.

What's a good email address? I don't have it in front of me but I can send it in the morning. Creating a custom layout is super easy though.

NOTE: This is just off the top of my head and might not be exact but it is the basics of how its done.

Open up the Platen Organizer program. Choose to create new layout...it will ask if you want to start with setting from a previous layout. Select yes and choose the black high resolution layout. It's going to make you confirm a bunch of the settings that you are starting with. Then simply create the platen dimensions and drag the platen onto the bed layout. Save the layout as a new name and you are done. Now when you go into NeoRip you will see the new layout you just created.

Yup, exactly what we do.

Here's a largish image we printed using two platens pushed together.

Creating a layout is easy if you follow the step by step guide.

At the point where the two platens but together, you'll need some sort of infill to support the shirt - we use a sublimation mouse-mat cut to the correct size. It's quite heavy and doesn't slip - ideal for the job :)

I've also made an oversized platen
