wondering if anyone has printed on anything like this (pic below) they are 90% polyester and 10% spandex knit. will they shrink or disfigure when curing through a dryer? i am using matsui stretch waterbased inks, so they need to be cured, but i am just wondering what temps, how long, ect. for these to be cured. any help would be greatly appreciated!

Make sure to order extra and run through the dryer. Trial and error with your thermometer, temp and speed. Make sure to recored it for future runs and always do a standard wash test. Hope this helps.

Those garments do tend to shrink in the dryer. Sometimes as much as a size. Agree with Corey, do tests and follow manufacturers instructions for temperature and time.

Erin, does that hold true for waterbased inks too? Are there bleed resistant formulas?

I can only speak for Wilflex waterbased inks. Our waterbased line, Oasis, does not have bleed resistance. We do have plastisols that have bleed resistance and stretch. You will want to talk to your ink manufacturer and see if their waterbased has bleed resistance.

Matsui has an undercoat binder in their line. (that is what i am using along with their stretch base) i am just wondering about the curing procedure with that type of stretchy material.

If my conveyor does not have temp only has speed does any one have an idea what speed setting it should
be set for?
