Hi,
I have a Creation Pcut CS630 cutter & it has been excellent.....but, there's always a but, I had to update the operating system on the computer that drives the cutter, from vista to windows 7 due to a few issues I was having with vista. Now the computer doesn't recognise the cutter. I've tried downloading a newer driver (that is suppose to be for windows7) with no luck. The computer picks up the cutter as a GPS camera(????) but will not drive the cutter. I've tried using a different USB cable, the serial cable...no luck...
While I still have some sanity left...can anyone offer any solution...........PLEASE!!!

Hi Margaret,

I too had the same problem,im surprised I still have hair, what worked for me though was sticking with vista, xp or anything else besides windows 7, we (&the distributer) went through everything we can think of to try get it going(windows 7),to no prevail,maybe there is someone out there that has done it but from my experience it cant be done, I hope this helps as my cutter has being great for me aswell, no dramas in the 2 years ive had it...

where did you buy the plotter from?

is your plotter FTDI chip? you can get the cs631 drivers from

start.ukcutter.co.uk, follow the links and install going into your com/ports and updating your driver (Manuely searching it

Thanks. I ended up setting up the PC with a partition & run two operating systems, seems to be working OK like this.
