Hi all..... I have just taken delivery of a Creation CT630 and its doing my head in. I have connected it via a USB lead but it doesn't want to work. I have Signblazer Elements (trial edition) which sometimes sends it to the cutter but then nothing happens. I have seen there is an issue with COM ports but I am starting to tear my hair out with it. Any help will be gratefully accepted.

I had to change to a usb-serial lead and use a different baud rate to normal, see if that works for you

Finally got it working..... was the drivers that needed updating. The ones on the disc didnt work. PHEW

if you dont do it like this, try from now on, when you turn on your pc, dont have your CT plugged in, start up pc, then plug in CT it will bing bong, and you should be in business, often my pc wont pick up the CT when its plugged in, so now i always start the pc first, then plug it in, saves time and restarting all the bloomin time
