Just scored a great deal on craigslist. A 18x18 flash dryer 1 gallon each red white blue black and yellow plastisol ink, 2 squeegees a gallon of emulsion remover, press wash, block out and some other things i can read for $100. Pretty stoked I was willing to pay $200 for just the Flash Dryer;)

nice score.... I always watch craigslist, can find almost anything you are looking for for a great deal....I just got a epson 4000 with refillable ink carts for $350.00 . the seller used it 3 times. now Im looking for newman roller frames...I purchased one brand new ...and love it..I will never go back to static frames.....

Inked
Do you normally search for materials in your area on craigslist or do you do a kinda of national search? just curios
I usually do a search in my area, then i search google with whatever im looking for +craigslist to see what comes up...

Ha! If you haven't, check the Forum's Classified section. 2 hours old.
Craigslist is a good place to find stuff. I just picked up 37 wood screen printing frames for $60. All in good shape. Even some of the screens have a few uses left in them.
I've picked up many great pieces of equipment and supplies off Craigslist. They're much better deals then our own T-shirt Forums Classifieds sadly to say.

People usually just want to get rid of it. I think people buy and either have no idea how to screen print, can't sell their products or both.

They start with capillary film

LOL!!!
That, and they also watch videos and think they can just pick it up. They don't take into consideration the Offset, scoop coating, curing, type of ink and proper push or pulling.

I don't know how many people I've heard blame humidity.

Ha! That was me. "Ill be printing in no time, It cant be that hard"!!!

WRONG!!! But taking the time to learn correctly is all apart of the process. And failing is also. Im glad my first client was so nice...:)

Right, like the people who write TDS's for emulsion manufacturers... Those silly guys, when will they learn?

Really though, should anyone who's printing complain about cheap gear flooding the market? I bought my last batch of used roller frames cheaper than I could buy new statics...
