Hi
Has anyone successfully installed the craft robo 5000-40 on windows 7?
I am trying to install my craft robo pro 5000-40 on a windows 7..... 64 bit. I followed the instructions on graphtec. I downloaded the graphtec studio. Then the controller, then driver, not sure it installed properly, but notice said it did, then tried to update the firmware, I get to the part where it says to put the files downloaded in the "working folder" not really sure what the working folder is....... and then I followed the instructions to press the left and right arrows at the same time on the panel and text should display on the screen that says update. Now I am getting a GP- GL 1 Error..... I can not get it to display the update text on the panel. I went into the menu and then command and reset it to GP-GL and selected enter to reset it. If anyone knows anything about this I sure would appreciate any advice. Thank you.

did you reset to factory settings and unplug for 5-10 mins.?
are there any files in the queue causing conflicts?

"working folder", no sense actually telling you where to put the files
make it undecipherable without a treasure map that can only be opened with seven hidden keys,
but you must first defeat the seven plagues of golmortha to get the keys

the firmware update should be an .exe anyway and find its own way to the 'working folder'

is this a critical update or can you run it without until you figure things out?

No I haven't tried the factory reset. But I will give it a try. No there are no files in queue. I have to update the firmware in order to use it on my laptop running windows 7. Than you so much for the help and the giggles too.
