Second problem tonight!

Does anyone know why my robo won't cut a circular set of letters (a series of text has been created around an elipse however it just won't recognise the format and hence won't actually do anything)!

Hope this makes sense - please help! Thanks in advance to anyone out there who may have a clue how I resolve this issue!

All sorted now thanks.

Found a good old you tube tutorial!!
Keri,
I would still like to know which software you are using with your Craft Robo as mine came with 'Robomaster' and I was unable to design let alone cut 'text on an arc' with this software. Unless I was missing something:confused:

Hi Phil

You need to download inkscape.

It's the same as illustrator but it's free!

You can design what you like then save as a dxf file. Robomaster will cut these.
Thanks for that Keri, but i've gone all posh now;) I have upgraded to a larger vinyl cutter and designing everything in Coreldraw and cutting with Signcut X2.
I'm still using the little CraftRobo as a lot of my designs are still in .dxf files designed in Robo Master. Love this little machine, small and limited but ideal fot t-shirts.

Regards
Phil

Hi, just been reading the post on inkscape and saving as dxf to us in robo master ..

This might be silly question but how do you import it the robo master as ive tried to drag drop, copy and paste ans also opening the file to add none of these work ....
