For an unknown brand, what would be a typical or appropriate order minimum quantity wise?

Do you need a firm delivery date, or maybe if stores know you don't have inventory, would a loose date (like "the week of") be unprofessional?

What kind of turnaround is typical for delivery?


Very newbie question, do you need a license/tax id to sell to retail? Or when starting out, you can use your SS# for tax purposes?

As you begin to sell the line, most shops will want to place a very small order to test the sells. I know some buyers will only buy a few pieces just to make sure they don't get stuck with a brand that doesn't sell. Firm delivery dates are better than giving them a loose date.
