Hi,
100% cotton tshirts have a few issues. Shrinkage, dullness and the feel over time. Would it help if we add 15% polyester to the cotton? would it give a slight shine to the material, liven it up and reduce shrinkage in the long run? Also, i need help sourcing a good tshirt factory in shanghai china. if someone could refer it would help alot!

thanks!

To overcome shrinkage and wrinkles, you'll need to have a much higher poly content. The norm is 50/50.

Not sure about dullness and feel. Most times I can't tell the difference between a 100% cotton vs a 50/50 cotton shirt.

cotton always feel better than polyester, especially in a long run, but add 15%polyester will give a slight shine effect as you expect. Because cotton fabric is wrinkle easily, so add some polyester will make the fabric look clear and clean. Ring-spun combed cotton after a pre-wash treatment will make the fabric zero shrinkage or very little shrinkage, so shrinkage isn't a problem between them, while cotton is more eco-friendly to environment, and feel soft, it has been always the best choice for t-shirt.

You can search the factory from 3 sites that you will find some good factory from Shanghai: alibaba, globalsources, made-in-china.

Good luck with you.
