I know what you mean. I will still use x6 for awhile as I test x7. Looks and feels pretty much the same. A few new things here and there. Will know more after I get some time to play with it.

We are testing and looking at X7 your current installers and plug-ins for X6 and other DRAW will not work in X7.
We have to test everything inside and out etc.
Stand by I will update you after we have completed the testing which might take up to a month or possibly a little more. And then depends on if everything works or not.

I always get excited to try out new software even though I realized a long time ago that Corel is not moving in the direction that I want. I'm gonna definitely download version X7 and see what it's made of.

The big update in the new GUI which is well I guess that depends on your taste.
Bitmap fills now support transparency which is cool for effects.
New smear tools in PP which are good.
Outlines to the inside, out side of center.
A few other things..
That list is if you are coming off a fully functional X6.4
If you jump from X6 to X7 there a allot more... all the stuff from 6.1, 6.2, 6.3 and 6.4 etc.
If you go to help and select Highlight what's new you can look around in DRAW and anything that is new will be highlighted.

Im on X5, I like the font playground. Can see it being useful for my family reunion designs. But then again I also have design base......😐

Update should be online in less than week. X7 is giving allot of trouble but I think we are almost there. Had to all be rewrite SimpleSeps but that was completed today. Sorry for the delays but we have test test and test.

I came across this post when looking for some insight into corel draw x7 and simplesep. Since this was posted in April I figured there would have been an update, however when I go to the advancedtshirt website I do not see any information on x7...Can I get an update as to when it will be out and ready?

We are in final testing now had allot of issues with it had to just about rewrite everything. As soon as it is ready I will send out a newsletter and update our site.

Corel changed all the user interface and color palette system. Result lots of software to update and change on our end. I want to get it out as soon as possible.

All of the upgrades will work X6 and X7. The SimpleSeps 4 will be an upgraded significantly a from SimpleSeps 3. Full interlocking halftone support, auto trapping, auto choking, auto spreading and white base gutters. Dot gain, dot trapping and choking and more.
SimpleSeps 4 will work with X5 - X6, X3 and X4 are questionable at this point as far as SimpleSeps 4 is concerned.
We are also working on universal updating script that see what you have previous versions of DRAW and just auto update X7. I think that will be easiest way to update.

SimpleSeps SamrtRIP 4.0 is an all new version and requires and upgrade purchase from 3.0 or higher. the upgrade page and info is on our website.
New features include...
Auto trapping
Auto spreading
Auto gutters
Enhance white separations which is a first. This will actually separate the pantone trans white that would be in your tinted spot colors.
Several new white base color separation options.
Easy to use dot gain compensation
Full interlocking halftone support
Traps and spreads for halftone dots in your separations
Custom registration marks
Don't choke white bases. This white base option chokes all the colors in base except the white which would not be choked. This is useful when you to print with just one white as the white base.
T-shirt color separation options that automatically remove the shirt color from your separation and white base.
The automated spreads and chokes are now greyscale intelligent. which means they will hold the greyscale values of the images perfectly when the separations are choked or spread.
And more
We really build everything we could possibly think of into this upgrade.
We will also release the rest of our X7 upgrades in the next few days. They will not have new features but they will work in X7.

I installed the new version for 3, will I need to get the 4 for X6. I downloaded X7 but haven't installed it. Waiting to hear from you on whether it's worth it to upgrade from X6, I really like X6 and it's very stable., so, do I really need to go to X7?
