I have added a 25 tutorial series to youtube.com "Getting Started with the CorelDRAW Graphic Suite X6" If you are new to DRAW this is a fundamental series but you should be able to get started with both design and production artwork after you complete the 3.5 hour tutorial series.

This is not advanced or comprehensive it is just to get you started in a matter of a few hours. At least that was my goal with this series.

If you have recommendations for other tutorials post em here.. I will try to get to them but keep in the basics please.

Yes it will be out in few days. Nothing major just redesigned interface X6 compatability and a few tweaks. Supports all black printing and better halftone processing. With some speed improvements based on X6s performance.

I thought the earlier version is compatible with X6.

Hi Bro James.. yes it is compatible and works but you have to run SimpleSeps thru the Macro Manager as the installation of the current versions does not ad the Advanced Tools to the menu in X6.

The installer on the version being released shortly will create the and install into the Advanced Tools tab.

Supports all opppssss Black Printing Back should have Black. Which is just a process of printing black in all the color cartridges of a printer. Many of our users are using SS as a RIP so we wanted to add that.

Hi sben, yes we will make it available to current customers as a free upgrade thru a download or on DVD for a small fee to cover shipping etc.

Tom. Thanks. That all black printing will save me some time. I now currently convert. For the price of tom's product anyone starting out should buy this. Even seasoned printers can learn from this. It will save you so much time and buy the mega bundle with all the training videos. You will learn so much.

is your plugins going to work on X6 64 bit pc
I just upgrade to X6 and try to open SS an other plugin through macro manager but they won't open. any suggestions

You can run the 64 bit and the 32 bit on the same system. We are a an issue with Design Base in 64 bit but it does work in the 32 bit.

SimpleSeps 1.2 will not work in X6 but the upgrade we released for free with X5 1.2.3 will work.

We have updates for everything just about ready to come out.. Design Base has been completely redeveloped. Fashion Factor and SimpleSeps. But I need to do a little more testing before we release them.

I got an old core 2 duo running XP. For those who have an old PC how does the X6 fare on such machine(or what do you think). I am concerned about a slower X6 on my machine. I am using X4 now.

Yes updates will sent out for free downloads if you want a DVD of the update there will be a fee for that.

We selling thru a partner who shoud start shipping next week on Tuesday or Wednesday.
