This is how you would need to do it. The only way to use or view a new version on an older version is to save the file as the older version. You can view and use older versions on newer versions but not the other way around.Open the trial version.
Open one of your X5 files and see if it allows you to save as a previous version.
If it does, then save them all as X4 version. see attached.
yea,but is it gonna conflict with my x4 version if i do that??? you know having both versions on the same computer? when i first got my x4 version i had the x4 trial on my computer, and i had to delete it in order to to install the regular one, but this x5 trial is a whole other monster. they wont let me uninstall this one. what do you guys think???I had a similiar problem several months back. Corel placed an entry in your register that shows you downloaded a trial version of x5. It won't let you download another on that same computer. Go to your other computer, download the x5 trial on it, load your zip drive and save your work as x4. Worked for me.
Good luck.
I have X3 X4 and x5 on one computer no problem it sits up seperate files. Plus if you want to git rid of the trail you may have to go to registry editor and delete all entries that refer to that version. This can be dangerous and really screw up things. be sure to back up your registry before making changes.yea, but is it gonna conflict with my x4 version if i do that??? you know having both versions on the same computer? when i first got my x4 version i had the x4 trial on my computer, and i had to delete it in order to to install the regular one, but this x5 trial is a whole other monster. they wont let me uninstall this one. what do you guys think???
