I’m still on six but I see some bugs. Corel claims its the compatibility with Windows 10 but I think Corel has had bugs since before Windows 10. I did install the new demo but I see some of the same old problems so why switch.
We do a lot of engraving so I’ve become accustom to designing in RGB because it prints better. I’ve tried for 2 years to get my default color setting from CMYK to RGB but it always defaults back to CMYK.
CNTRL + is one of my favorite functions in Corel but when I ran the demo that funtion wasn’t working.
Anyone else demo/buy the new version and have a review?

I had the same problem with demo version. I have installed the full version successfully.

I have. I'm pretty familiar with Corel, I've been using it since x3. I've tried saving as default, tools-color management-default settings and a hundred other ways with no luck. I'm open to suggestions
So after wrote this post I starting researching the subject again. As I've stated, I've tried it a hundred times but I just came across this article and it worked.
Setting Up Your Defaults In CorelDraw X6, X7, X8 | MTM
I guess you never know things as well as you think.
Anyway, I'd love to upgrade to the new Corel Graphics suite 2017 but I'd prefer a subscription based program where it would offer included updates and especially for changes in Windows.

Well I spoke too soon. I shut the system down and when I opened Corel again I was right back to CMYK
