I've never used Corel Draw before, but one thing I've noticed when people post how-to's for it is that you could have written exactly the same thing for Illustrator.

So until someone comes along with a better answer, here's how you'd do it in Illustrator on the off chance that would help you:

Draw the path you want the text to follow
Click the "text on a path" tool
That's it... apply text and the line disappears (it becomes an invisible path for the text to follow)

...so I guess searching for text on a path in the help files may help. Sorry if that's useless.

Yes, good for t-shirts, especially good for your corporate design work (i.e. logos, etc.).
