What is the most current/newest version of Corel Draw? I currently have version 12. Can I upgrade from there are am I too far away? What options would I have?

x3 and x4, not sure if you can make the jump from 12 to x4, but im sure you can go to x3

go to Corel Store - CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X4 and you can check for eligibilty to upgrade to x4....I think you can..but exceptions are the student/education versions and some not for resale packages...but call them and see...would be about $199 to get x4

X4 is the most current version. There is one service pack out for it also.

Yes, 12 can be upgraded. As long as it is not a student teacher or OEM version.

Thanks for the info. X4 is on it's way. I went ahead and ordered the Box as opposed to the download. I would rather do that in case something happens. I also ordered the "handbook" since I am a novice and want to learn as much as possible, even though asking you guys is probably eaiser and faster and more accurate than what I can figure out.

Craig...don't forget there are a lot of free tutorials online...just googe for them. I know that there some at Welcome to AdvancedArtist.com FREE Corel DRAW turtorial training and downloads and Learning @ Your Own Pace® - lynda.com has some pay tutorials...and don't overlook the tutorials that come on the disks in the box..

Smart move ordering the box. You get a bunch of extras. Clipart and fonts and such. Plus a printed book with the clipart.

Plus when your hard drive crashes, it's easier just loading the disk again vs. finding your receipt, etc. attempting to get authorization for a re-download.
