This is actually a very simple question. It's just been a while since I've done this and for whatever reason I can't remember how.
If I create a simple square there's a way make the corners rounded. Can someone remind me how?

Once you create the rectangle a rectangle modification bar should appear toward the top of your screen. One of the options on that bar is the corner modification area. Click on the selection that rounds the corner and then determine how much of a rounded corner you would like. I am going to try to put in a screen shot that shows it.

That's right, thanks Sunjoa. My tool bar got jumbled around and that's why I'm not seeing that option. I knew it was real simple at right there in front of me. Now if I can just figure out how to retrieve it
back to the tool bar, lol.

Here is a quick tip..

First, make sure your square is not yet converted to object.
Select the square and click the shape tool or simply (F10).
You will notice that the edge of the square will become broken line.
You can now drag one of the four corners to equally make them round or curve.
Or press and hold CTRL button while dragging if you want only one corner to be rounded. :)
