I have a conveyor dryer that is working great, the only problem I am having is it had been sitting for a while and the belt is dirty. Not a good thing when I am doing white shirts. Any ideas on how to clean the belt? Was thinking about taking the belt off and soaking it, not sure if it would ruin the belt though.

Is it Teflon coated? If it was me I would take it off and wash it at the car wash, but I probably would not soak it.

We've spray washed ours in our washout booth when we do a major, dead-of the winter, cleaning. You can also just wipe it down with a damp cloth or mild cleaning solution like Windex.

Most, if not all, are fiberglass with a teflon coating. I can't imagine washing, soaking, or much of anything else hurting a belt. Frankly, I don't know how people get holes in them, unless it from too much tension and a weak thread gives way.
