We have been in the Screen Printing and Embroidery Biz for about a year and went to Atlanta for the ISS Show. We were very impressed with the Direct Garment printers but had every vendor tell us theirs was the best. I know their has been some problems with the white ink. Has this been fixed on the newer machines? Is the WMIS all what its made out to be? Is a 2 year warranty really a 2 year warranty?

The best thing you can do is read each vendors specific forum. This will let you see the user reviews of each machine. One thing you want to do a search for is bagged ink. This is a very important piece of the puzzle.

Which specific problems are you referring to? White in printing is still a bit more complicated that printing on light garments with a DTG.

All of them will have some amount of learning curve to master. Maintenance is a must.

Is the WMIS all what its made out to be?

If you search the DTG forums for WIMS, you'll find a few members experiences posted about that system (and others)

What do you mean by this?

Do you have a specific budget in mind?

The warranty does not cover anything that ink touches. Ie...head, lines, dampers, capping station, etc....basically only boards and motors.
