Looking into getting a compressor/air dryer (chiller?) and been getting conflicting numbers. I've call M and R twice, 1st guy told me it needs 19 cfm and 100 psi. 2nd guy said as low as 8 cfm would work? Is that the cfm important?

Looking at ingersoll rand conpressors also. Found a 60 gallon that does 18.1 cfm and 135 psi. But some of the 80 gallons that get 175 psi only get 14 cfm. Theres a big price difference also. Especially the 80 gallons that do 24 cfm and 175 psi. Would the 18.1 and 135 psi be good?

Lastly what type of dryer/chiller as far as specs? Are they the same thing (dryer/chiller)? I see air dryers available but not "chillers"

Thanks for any help.

At least 19 cm with at least an 80 gallon tank. They also recommend 10% more com than the press requires.

I use a Campbell Hatfield.
