Hi! I'm interested in printing my own designs on boutique baby and toddler clothing. I am a complete newbie and really don't even know where to start! I don't want to do sublimation. I want to print and press on cotton garments. Any help is appreciated! Currently searching for a printer and browsing etsy for great clipart to use. :)

Check out a epson WF-7610 or a 7620. They come with all Pigment ink and you can use Jpss and 3g opaque for printing on. You will need to learn how to incorporate white into your images if its needed.Check out cobraink.com as well for a ciss tank system or you can use refillable carts from them. I have a friend that uses them all the time with no issues and loves it.

I am using the Wf-7610 with the standard carts until i run out and then im going to the refill ones.

Or the other option is going with Heat Transfer Vinyl (HTV) but you need a heat press for that. I use HTV more than anything ,but it also depends on what your needing to make tho. If you have any other questions let me know or send me a pm.

There are some additional safety/materials requirements for kids garments, like no heavy metals or phthalates allowed in the pigments/inks, and the like. Sorry, I do not remember off hand what the rules/regulations are called, but be sure to Google this info if you are not already familiar with it.
