Hi All,

this is my first post.. i have dtg m2 machine with kothari rip pro.

now problem is on white i dnt have any problems with printing any colors.
but on dark color specially on black tshirt color doesnt comes as per print and also many other problems as mention below:

1. on black color blue changes to purple and red changes to maroon..
2. in few prints thr are white spots on print but doesnt happen on every design. checked design its perfect as it prints super on white tshirt.
2. vertical and horizontal lines comes in few designs.
checked design its perfect as it prints super on white tshirt.
3. my color profiling is default as given wen installed by my distributor, but i feel that color profiling is wrong.
4. many designs i have to increase brightness to get right prints. for eg m printing for marvel tees on white it comes perfect but on black red changes to maroon.

talked to my distributor but he knows nothing and always say we will get back to you and vanishes.

plz help i have many bulk orders and i am in loss.

using dupont inks cmyk and white and dupont pretreatment solution. previously was using firebird pretreatment but problem was same.

attaching few pics for ref.:(

looks like you're using 1 pass yes? dont...utter rubbish. the M2 has to be 2 pass for colour prints.

white spots...too much white ink.
horizontal lines are "banding", its the printers curse for both DTG and large format printing.

The "75" print looks like a very low DPI, use 720x720 or 1440. also it looks like the head needs a good clean! what are your nozzle checks like?

and what dpi are your files? they need to be 300dpi so that the heads put down more dots!

there's so much wrong with your prints there...many issues. but fixable!

one of my M2's is very temperamental on start up and i always get 1 white channel totally missing, so 2 cleans is normal but if after the 1st or 2nd clean the nozzle check is getting worse (which happens a lot), then get some cleaning fluid, move the head to the left and then fill up the capping station with cleaner...then re-dock the head and leave for a minimum of 30 mins, then do a normal clean.

also...go with Heavy at 720 for white and colour, what i found is that mixing dpi's isnt good. the RIP likes it all to be the same. i got a lot of vertical registration problems on 2 pass (the colour pass would be about 2mm out from the white pass. when i used the same DPI's and Heavy settings, it was fine, in fact some of the best prints ive got! I also use the Fine and Weave on the white pass, it adds 20 seconds to the pass but it gets rid of banding.

post some pics mate...lets see :)
