Well, I hope that you guys can help a newbie on this forums.

I have a problem with printing underbased images on T-Jet Blazer Express using Fast artist 1.5.1 and Fast Rip9.0.

The underbase I print is being printed inches above the color layer, like 10 inches below even tho it shows exactly the same position when viewing raw picture in RIP!

Any thoughts?

are ou manually stopping machine to look at something . i had this happen one time when i hit the eject button then sent it in again . it has not happend since as i learned you cant do that . if i have a issue with base and have to eject then i turn off untill i hear it disconnect from computer (this purges printer data) then you can reload and print over the ruined shirt to see if your issue is fixed. i have a different printer but same software. where did you buy it ?

Sounds like an issue with the encoder wheel that reads the possition of the bed. If it's slipping on the rewind, I could see this happening. I would talk to the people you bought from (if it's a referb) or call The folks at Equipment zone. They could probably walk you through tightening up the linkage or the wheel itself.

From J in our Support Department:

What does the Printers Right hand LCD Panel say? It should read "Paper out: with the Roll of paper and Scissors Icon"

Also make sure your page size setting is correct. Your page size for your Blazer Express is a 17 x 31.

To check this go to FastArtist
File > FastRIP Setup > Page Setup
Check Custom and set the height to: 31 and the width to 17

Also, are the correct templates in use? If not let us know and we can get the correct Blazer Express templates to you for the shirt boards in use.

LCD is saying exactly the same you wrote.

What settings should I have in FastRip 9.0 under queue -> properties -> page setup -> page scaling ? No Scaling or Fixed Scaling (note that there is no 31x17 option under fixed).

Would you be so kind to provide the templates - I get some random ones like A4, B2 etc, and that templates do not match the ones in FastArtist (sleeve, junior board etc.).

Thanks

Page size in the software can cause this. check that.

Remove the back panel (where the power cord goes in).
There is 2 belts. One for the motor, one to the bed.
Grab both ends (motor end-bed end).
Twist in opposite directions. There should be NO "play"
within these 2 belts. If there is, the set screws are loose
and need to be tightened.

Best of luck-check the mechanical "belt" thing first,
then look at the software end. It could be either, making
a diagnosis more difficult.
