Hey all
I tried first CMYK print. FIRST!!! I know registration is off so know that is biggest problem but question is.
I used IC profiles with Corel. It generated:
C 60lpi, 15 degrees
M 60lpi, 75 degress
Y 60lpi, 0 degress
K 60lpi, 45 degress.
My films seemed light using goshtscripts and epson 1100 and the water splash just wouldn't burn.
Also it seems very light on shirt. I used 305 screens.
The second pic is original artwork. Any sugestions to get it right ( besides re-register ) and the colors to "pop" on the shirt.
Thanks!!

Is there no under base under the fish. CMYK are translucent inks and really require an under base on anything but white. I even under base white so that when I do the same shirt on a color the print stay consistent. Personally I would reduce the LPI to 50-55 and the lower the mesh the more ink that will be put down. So using 230-280 will allow more ink to be put down.

Here is a CMYK with a underbase with IC pro brite.
