I would assume the CMYK is the same as any other printer. There may be a small additive change for binding but would have to ask your ink manufacturer. I usually shake all my bags of ink CMYK and White. Im sure you could put cleaning cartridges in also. Im still fairly new but willing to share what miniscule amount I have learned.
thank you durt . what machine did you get? im trying to buy one. i had cmyl befire im little scared to get the white version because of this clogging and drying
Topdog sounds right. I purchased two Spectra 600's and the spray coater. I have not had a problem with the white ink.......Yet (knock on wood twice to un-jinx myself). I use syringe to clean the capping station upon shutdown and put my waste ink bottle higher than waste tube to keep cap station wet. I also soak the print head nightly. Should be a video on internet by Spectra showing the process. Don't want to hammer your post so if you have any questions and I am able to answer I will.
