hi guys!

i'm new in silkscreen printing and i have just a couple of questions to ask about inks. una, hindi ba talaga pwedeng patungan ang tulco ink? from my experience kumakalas sya eh. for example nagwhite base ka tapos pinatungan mo ng wetlook. i dont usually use tulco inks but since in our province only tulco inks are available, i have no choice but to use tulco. this is big problem :(for me coz im trying to do a cmyk printing on dark shirt with white underbase.

my 2nd question is, how to print cmyk on dark shirt using tulco inks and what kind of inks?

thank you very much. more power to all.:)

hi . me website ang tulco TULCO Screen Printing Supply pwede ka dun magtanong or call mo 713 6293 o 0917 5005276 hanapin mo si mam tess. pwede namang magpatong ng pintura kaya lang dapat gumamit ka ng fixer ru at icucure mo siya sa heatpress. me recommended silang degrees depende sa pintura mong gamit. isa pa, they recommend na kung magpapatong ka ay the same series ang gagamitin mo.

WELCOME to TSF Wholetone.

Aquasoft needs final curing with the use of heatpress because normal drying is not enough to totally dry the ink. I hope the Sir Wholetone has his own heatpress to cure the ink in regards.

Aquasoft is being sold by Tulco as an alternative to other water-base inks with the advantage of prolong drying and with the advantage of not clogging the screen, and it is also an alternative ink vs plastisol ink.

But I would like to point out that Aquasoft is not the only ink used for CMYK printing. There are other classic water-based inks we mix and use for CMYK application, and others with plastisol inks.

Sir Padi is right that there are series of inks from Tulco that are mixed with or should only be mixed with the same type and there are ink products that is standalone. Maybe your underbase is a standalone product that is why the second print wears off.

@Sir Wholetone, you can get more info on ink mixing int this thread: http://www.t-shirtforums.com/asia/t89055.html.

Goodluck. :)

1. air dry for 8-12 hours

Wholetone,

Pwede ka magpatong at maghalo ng mga inks ng TULCO, provided na series to series ang gagawin mo. Example, If you plan to print CMYK to a dark fabric (lets say black) using Aquasoft CMYK ready-mixed colors, you should use the Aquasoft White as your underbase. These inks are compatible to each other because they are of the same series. But still, be careful kapag may mga ganyan patong ng print, it really needs proper curing, lalo na sa Aquasoft dahil special ink na yan. Heat press or conveyor oven is highly recommended for your curing process.

When you accidentally print two different series of ink kahit ma cure mo yan malaki na yung possibility na ma wash-out to sa washing.

Maraming series ng inks ang TULCO to cater wide range of target market, some can only afford this much and others requires high end products. Some have lower costing than the other kaya maraming series para may mapagpilian ka. Nothing to worry because in every ink series complete naman ang variants nito tulad ng Superwhite/White, Wetlook/clear and True color/matte.

Happy printing!
