Im gonna screen press a photograph but i want it black and white not colored, I try looking for how to do it information but cant find any. I know how to do separate each cmyk on photoshop but if im gonna do it on black white hows does that work? And if i do that, do i have to do it wet to wet or wet -dry then wet?

This will depend on color of shirt you need. You can simply convert your image to gray scale and depending on detail and you abilities to print halftones you can do with a little as 1 screen or many screens.

White and black shirts, I never tryed it on black shirt but i know that you need to add a underbase but dont know how yet, right now im talking about white shirts. How can i do it if i want it to be more detailed?

I were printing on black shirts I would simply use white ink. And black ink on the white shirts. Same screens just revers the colors. Printing black on black doesn't really work for me.

You get a better result printing a B&W image on both black and white shirts if you also invert you image between the two prints. This would result in needing a screen for each color shirt but your end result will be more appealing than printing the same verse of image with the same screen.

Steve I would agree but if you invert and just print the white wouldn't you need an outline on the outside to get the outer details. Am I missing something. I always just use the same screen and print white on the black shirt. I am always up for learning

Yea my bad i was talking about if i did cmyk not black and white.

Mask and invert. You are talking about a portrait of someone, right?

No me by I understand how to make the film. But what I did understand you said above to print each shirt black/white you would need a screen for each. This would be a simple color swap no?

Yes invert your output so your film would be different.
