I have accumulated something in the way of 20,000 design elements, in the form of vector files, monochrome bitmaps, SVG files, EPS files, currently I manually place them in my library under their proper content folder. The BIG issue is how to library and search them. I have no problem purchasing software, but I can't seem to find any that works in our world. Microsoft clip art organizer wont' recognize "vector" type files. I reallllllly don't want to print out index pages and place them in a binder.
Adobe Bridge is often overlooked, but it is actually the best for the purpose. So, if you already have Adobe Suite (starting with CS2 and up), give it a try – you won’t be disappointed.
