I just did a wash test on a 100 %cotton t. After the wash if I look real close I can see a slight outline around the lettering barely noticeable. using plastsol transfers. I was wondering what would cause that? was not there before the wash.

The same thing will happen with inkjet depending on the shirt color. Anything darker than natural will show the border. Personally, it doesn't bother me. Perhaps further washings will remove it but not likely.

Did you find a way to not have the border show? Maybe it was the transfer you were using ?

I think it was the transfer and too much pressure. Good now.
