Hi, wondering if anyone has found a source for purchasing cleaning foam swabs for the anajet. Their pricing seems high. I found an online source for them. Also, has anyone used 98% alchohol for the cleaning solution instead of what anajet sells? Does this work? TIA
Right now am not a happy camper with my anajet. clogging issues big time.

Mona, Distilled water works great for general maintenance. I'll mix alcohol with the water, but strait, it evaporates very quick and if you do not remove what you trying to remove, it'll just dry in place and make things worse. foam brushes dipped in warm distilled water(120 f) and pressed against the head work very well. Have you tried any of my suggestions that I posted on the AJ forum. Let me know if you made any progress.

Ian, Thanks for the tips on alcohol. I have not made any progress on the clog. Right now I have Cleaning Fluid in the back 4 bays and am running the cmyk for the orders I have on light t-shirts.
I am happy to try and additional suggestions.

I love the distilled water trick and have been using it. However, I didn't know we were allowed to touch the head at all.
The face of the printhead is very delicate. You can touch (Dab, press) with a new foam swab dipped in CF, but avoid rubbing it.

You can google car detailing foam swabs. There u can find the same ones cheaper. Careful there are some that are not suitable and will leave pieces behind. You will recognize the ones u use.
