CIS Ink vs Sunlight

Hi I have my new CIS I will be installing over the weekend, the printer will be right next to the window, since the ink tanks are external, does it matter of they are in direct sunlight or should I have the whole unit in a cabinet instead? its an A3 printer so would be a bit difficult to have it all enclosed.
