It is unlikely you will find a 'cutter software' for Chinese characters...that you would do with you design program. If you have a program now for Chinese character...just cut and paste or export/import.
Chinese Cutting Software
Does anybody know of any software that can cut Chinese fonts? I'm trying to start a new business, and I need to know which programs will allow me to cut Chinese fonts.

That's what I do, my Mac comes with all the Asian fonts so I design on my Mac and import the design into flexi. I can type using IME (input method engines) in Chinese. Signgo won't allow for that. What I can understand from what you guys are saying is to type in another program, save as jpeg, and import, and allow signgo to trace it? Sorry, I am totally new to this region.
So there aren't any programs out there that would let me type using my IME?

You may need to activate the fonts so signgo will accept them. I wouldn't save it as a jpeg and trace it, you would get a much better result if you type it into a vector program and convert it to an outline (if you're using illustrator it's the Type | Create Outlines menu). save the image as a compatible format...say .eps or such...and then import into your program
